Baan Kredtrakarn , as a governmental shelter , caters social services free of charge as follows :

1.


Accommodation ; there are 6 dormitories on the premises. The enrolled girls and women are provided with clothes , bedding , and other personal articles.

Food ; meals are served three times daily.
3.

Medical care ; an in-house clinic with nurses on duty 24 hours a day.
4.

Counseling services by psychologist and social worker.
5.

Psycho – social recovery program ; aims to improve the victim’s mental well-being , personality and create a sense of responsibility toward themselves and others.
6.

Education ; non-formal education is provided , using the curricula prescribed by the Ministry of Education.
7.

Recreational services and social activities ; aims to reduce stress and help the girls and women improve their social skills through culturally sensitive activities and facilities.

Life skills education ; training is provided to help women and children acquire necessary skills such as problem-solving , unification-living , etc.
9.

Vocational training ; eight training courses are dress-making , beauty treatment , weaving , wickerwork , handicraft , cooking , batik painting and traditional Thai massage.

Early children and development centre ; childcare facilities are available to provide assistance to residence and their children.
11.

Reintegration assistance ; providing assistance towards preparing the girls and women for reunification with their families and reintegrating into society , for example , Young Women’s Development for Community Project.
